Sausage Meat Cheeseburgers


This me and my partner decided that we needed to start making more of our meals instead of just buying pre-made oven meals. So we dug out all the cooking books we own and started flicking through to see what we liked the look of cooking. In Cook's Corner's Quick & Easy we found a recipe for cheeseburgers with sausage meat, so we decided to take this recipe and use it to create sausage meat cheeseburgers.


 

Ingredients

  • 100g/3 1/2oz Sausage Meat

  • Chopped Lettuce

  • 1 tsp Olive Oil

  • Salt and Pepper (to taste)

  • 2 Cheese Slices

  • 2 Burger Buns


 

Method

  1. Heat up a non-stick frying pan over medium heat, and add the Olive Oil. Add the sausage meat to the pan and cook for 8-10 minutes. You can form the meat into burger patties or just cook as-is.

  2. Season the sausage meat with salt and pepper to taste

  3. Cut the burger buns in half and place the lettuce on the bottom burger bun, then stack your sausage meat on top of the lettuce. Add your cheese slice and burger top.
