1. Set your alarm for the same time every day.
Having a solid routine is critical.
2. Get dressed.
No one is productivity in their pyjamas.
3. Are you a Morning person or a Night Owl?
Make sure you fit your day in with this, as this will be when you're most productive.
4. Be a nice boss.
Make sure you give yourself some time off, you don't want to become overworked.
5. Have a good chair.
Invest some money as you'll be spending a lot of time in your chair.
6. Get outside.
Go out and talk to the public, you don't want to be shutting yourself off as this will affect your mood and productivity.
7. Reward yourself
Set yourself some target to work towards, and reward for completing the targets. This will give you something to work towards.
8. Do one thing at a time
Make sure you do one task at a time if you start trying to do more than one task you'll end up forgetting about something.
9. Check your email twice a day
Don't be constantly monitoring your emails otherwise, you'll end up distracted by them and not get work done. Limit yourself to only check twice maybe three times a day.
10. Place your mission statement somewhere you can see it
You need to remind yourself of what you are doing and why you are doing it. Make sure that you don't veer away from your own mission statement.
